Sorte a nossa, afinal de contas, Gary Dranow, acompanhado de sua banda The Manic Emotions, parece cada vez melhor nos lan\u00e7amentos de seus singles. N\u00e3o \u00e9 diferente neste seu mais novo trabalho, intitulado \u201cJimi\u2019s Song\u201d, onde ele presta uma homenagem ao lend\u00e1rio Jimi Hendrix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas, antes de destrinchar a nova composi\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 bom ressaltar uma coisa. Inteligentemente Gary e seus comparsas, Chris Zoupa (Arranjos, Guitarra, Baixo) e Jason Jones (Produ\u00e7\u00e3o, Mixagem, Masteriza\u00e7\u00e3o, Vocais, Bateria), entregaram uma can\u00e7\u00e3o que tem muito pouco da obra de Hendrix. Uma boa sacada, pois mostra que para homenagear um artista n\u00e3o precisa copi\u00e1-lo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claro, como um excelente guitarrista, Dranow traz influ\u00eancias do mitol\u00f3gico artista de Seattle, mas a can\u00e7\u00e3o aqui \u00e9 uma semi-balada, com melodia bem dosada e inspirada no melhor do hard rock com pitadas de alternativo. E a faixa \u00e9 bem atual, desde sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e0 sua estrutura. Um leve toque comercial a deixa bem acess\u00edvel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma boa sacada na can\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 a letra que une contextos de diversos cl\u00e1ssicos de Hendrix, como \u201cPurple Haze\u201d e \u201cFox Lady\u201d, tudo cantado pela voz espetacular de Jones. Mais um acerto de Gary e The Manic Emotions!
